Provide Measurement Feedback

Data analysis is not just for PowerPoint presentations and annual reports. Ultimately, predictive statistics (i.e., what correlates with success), should inform training, policies, and employee feedback. Knowledge should be used to effect change, not for knowledge in and of itself.

Feedback Law #1:  People (offenders, employees, organizations) thrive on feedback.

Feedback Law #2:  Feedback, accompanied by a specific goal, leads to increased motivation.

Feedback Law #3:  Organizational feedback should be reflected in the revision of policies and procedures.

Feedback Bottom Line:  Change management in an organization is similar to behavioral change in people.  Train, practice, feedback. Repeat. The only way performance improves is with feedback. Great organizations are great because they crave and obtain consistent feedback. Be great!
